Quality product
This finial is perfect for the effect I wanted in my bedroom. I like the crystal finish which catches the light. It is much better quality than I expected for the price. Seems a sturdy and snug fit on the pole. There have been no issues with the finial not staying in place. Very happy with the purchase of this item.

Absolute rubbish don't buy
These look nice but they are the poorest design I've ever seen as they don't fit in the pole. A few people have somehow managed it but not easy and even if you do you can't ever take them off to remove curtains so completely useless. The only way I have done it is to remove the plastic push fitting and stuff the end with bluetack and then push on this works and you can take them off again. B&Q need to remove these from sale until sorted!!!

Perfect and look good too. Easy to attach
These are great. Easy to attach don't know what everyone else is moaning about. Simply hold the plastic inner part with a pair of pliers as you insert it into the pole, once almost in let go push the rest of the way and turn. Stays on and looks great.

Useless
For the 3rd time I foolishly ignored the reviews and paid the price. These would not fit at all. Tried the the method in the video but still refused to go on. What the point of providing instructions that you have to ignore? And why couldn't they just use the tried and tested grub screw and allen key method of securing that everyone else uses? This is the 3rd product from B & Q that I have recently purchased and had to return because they were useless. Clearly they don't care about quality so I will be getting my DIY supplies from elsewhere in the future. Even if I have to pay a little more.

Awful. Terrible design and impossible to attach
Spent an hour trying to attach these to a curtain pole. Impossible. Awful design. Faulty product and clearly always has been but nothing done to change it.

You must read this for instructions!
I have just got to leave a review for this. We bought these and initially struggled, they seemed to be faulty as all the other reviewers say but we have figured out how to attach them. The instructions on the packet are completely incorrect, please see the video I will attach. Where my husband says squeeze the plastic together, it’s the bit where there is a bigger gap between the plastic bits. These are lovely looking finials although the quality isn’t fantastic and actually fit quite well when you figure it out , it’s just the instructions are completely wrong on the pack and they don’t help at all! I’ve now spent more on all of the separate pieces than I would with a kit but it does look nice. I hope this helps someone !

Don’t buy!
1 of my nobs wouldn’t screw on. So I took it back and changed for another! I still had the same problem. This product should not be sold they are faulty. It’s such a shame because they are pretty and made to a good quality!

Not straightforward!
As per previous reviews, not the most intuitive to fit, and just twisting the pole won’t work, and forcing the finial is not the answer. Work the inner screw free and it will give you scope to get it onto the pole and then you can twist it tight. Once on, the look great and are a nice heavyweight finial.

Gorgeous finial. Read the fitting instructions!!
I too was kind of flumoxed when I tried to fit the finial. I then checked the instructions on the packaging. You hold the finial and then twist the pole to secure the finial in place. Job done - its jot a case of stick the finial on the end, yes it will fall off or not go on.
