Worth it
I bought this product last month and it’s really effective. I only needed to apply 1 layer to cover the bright orange paint.

Very impressed
I bought this product for some pretty awful uneven, poorly plastered walls with lots of holes and divots in them. I spent a lot of time prepping the area, filling in as much as possible. I wasn’t too happy when the first coat was being applied as it seemed to mix with the residual wallpaper paste leftover after I had tried to remove it. Perseverance is key with this stuff. Once dried it looked a million times better. The 2nd coat results were even better. Would have benefitted for doing a 3rd, but didn’t have enough for the large room being revamped. All in all, very impressed with this basecoat. For what it does, it’s reasonably priced and I’d recommend

Excellent Product, does exactly what it says.
I was a bit sceptical that it would do what it said but was amazed at how it worked on the walls that had a lot of issues. Saved me hours and money on having to replaster.

Problem wall no problem
After removing vinyl from a wall we found that it was hiding a lot and faced the issue of having to get a plasterer in. So i did some research and came across this paint. For the price, i decided it was worth a try. You have to be quick when applying it as it starts to set. I think it has plaster in the emulsion?? Anyway, we didnt need a plasterer and our wall looks great! Highly recommend!

Does what it says on the tub
Originally skeptical about buying this product with reading the negative reviews, however I took a leap of faith and was pleasantly surprised. During renovations I pulled down old wallpaper for it to pull at the paint underneath leaving patches in the ceiling. I gave the ceiling a sand down and gave it 3 coats of this stuff and you don’t notice the ‘patches’ at all.

This product is great
A really good basecoat that covers dark colours and hairline cracks. It was so good that I used one less coat to normal when painting on top of the basecoat. Strongly recommend!

Problem walls Smoothing basecoat
I brought this product 2 days ago Decorating my bedroom stripped all the wallpaper off and found imperfections on the wall.My wife said it would need re plastering, looked on BQ products and saw this. Applied the first coat and let it dry 80% of the imperfections disappeared. I put filler on the remaining problems and applied the second coat. The walls are now 100% perfect
