This hard top lid also doubles up as a storage lid, to store your tools inside and prevent dust and dirt getting to them ready and in perfect condition for when you need them again. Doesn't fit with liner
When using the liner, you cannot clip the lid down

Perfect Paint Tray Lid
Great idea to close your paint tray over so that you can come back to it later without paint drying out

Love this
Went back to some water based silk paint after several months. It was near perfect. No more crusts than what you get on the paint tin lids. Though I think even those couldve been prevented by wiping paint from chevrons or placing cling film over it to prevent extra air in tub causing it to form a skin. I know for next time.

Good idea...but
Good idea in theory, pretty useless in practice, fasteners wouldn't hold onto the base.

Don’t believe what B&Q tell you
These lids are great for pausing between coats, but ONLY when you are using water based paints. If you are using it with gloss the lids are useless. Used it between coats when painting a radiator and the paint was setting after 12 hours.
