Great value for money
I bought this last month as I was unable to use my outside and my hose together. I had tried to buy several other types but none of them fitted or worked the way they should. I took my tap bit off to ensure I bought the correct item and with the help of a member of the team at B & Q I got the correct item that works a treat. Now I have a fast release hose adapter for my outside tap.

Stops the flow of water
This product once attached has one purpose, to allow water to flow through it & into the hose. For some reason someone has designed a valve to fit inside of it, at extra cost to the manufacturer & the consumer. It has somehow made it through product testing & into manufacture. I put the connector onto the hose & then attached it to the tap connector. I turned on the tap & all the valve did was completely shut off any water going to the hose. It has failed in the most miserable way to meet its design concept.

Over engineered rubbish
The old brass ones that B&A used to stick were great, didn’t realise that this one was different until I got home, attached it to the connector on the tap & the hose, turned the tap on & no water, nothing. Turns out there is a valve inside which shuts the flow off when you turn the tap on. Whoever designed this needs firing, over engineered for absolutely no benefit. Very clever idiot, what a stupid idea, would really love to know what they were thinking. Used a punch to remove the valve & it now works perfectly.

Goodhome Brass Tap Hose Adapter
I bought this product as I was fed up of breaking plastic hose to tap adapters. It works really well and it more durable than the previously used plastic ones.

Terrible water pressure is drastically reduced
Terrible water pressure was reduced soo much wouldn’t bother wasting time with it Because of the design of the non return / anti drip inside the fitting it makes pressure terrible
