GoodHome Tough & Durable Matt Emulsion is suitable for use on any wood & metal surfaces, but it's ideal for use on the walls and ceilings of high traffic areas in your home, because of its covering power and highly resistant formulation.
- Guarantee - Statutory
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly
- Stir gently before use. Apply using a brush or roller, when the temperature is between 10°C and 30°C. For best results, apply 2 coats leaving up to 4 hours between coats
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening

Great color, thick paint, good finish
I painted a wall in my bedroom with this color. The paint is very thick, I did not dilute the first coat and used almost the full 2.5L to paint one wall (~3*4). I diluted the second pot for the second coat and used less than 1/ of it. So I recommend diluting the paint and ordering the recommended amount just to be sure but you may not need two pots. The coverage is great, after the second coat we did not see any brush mark and the color is a dark deep teal, we love it

Absolutely Atrocious
I purchased 2 tubs of this paint but didn't order Tough & Durable. Instead, I opted for the standard matt paint. When arriving into store, I was told there wasn't any in stock and was given this as an alternative. Thinking I'd done well to get the tough durable at no extra cost, I thanked them. If I could turn back time, I would have rather painted the standard matt paint with a single hair than touch this garbage. Dark paint had a tendancy to leave white marks when you touch it which I can accept; however, I don't expect to have varying shades of paint when applying another layer, despite following instructions CORRECTLY. Each container apparently covers 30 square metres, but this a lie because you spend most of your time applying the 5th, 6th, 7th or even 8th (yes, EIGHTH) coat trying to get a single shade. Hands down the worst paint I have ever had to contend with and it's all a little too late to return it now, so where does that leave me? Buggered, that's where. Top tip: if like me you're at the point of no return, get some lacquer. It'll do the job this tripe won't but don't expect it to be easy getting to the point where you can apply it. You'll graft like you won't believe!

Do not buy
Very patchy even after 3 coats by painter. Lightly running your finger over the wall would leave a big white mark. Had to completely redo with different paint. Do not buy!!!

Don't buy it!
The only reason I've given it one star is because I can't give it less. It's the worst paint I've ever used.... and I've used quite a few. No, its not tough, nor durable. Just leaning the smallest, lightest thing against it, pulls the paint off the wall, showing the colour beneath. This was put onto a pre cleaned and fully prepared wall. Touching up the areas that have been damaged seems to be a daily process and it looks awful before we've even completed the room. Don't buy it.

Lovely colour but awful paint
This paint is not durable and not washable. If you place something against it it will instantly leave a white mark which you unable to touch up. It doesn’t blend in and it has left a dark “framing” marks. It is too chalky and I would not recommend.

Useless
Doesn’t do what it says in the tin. A drop of water will leave this marked and it’s not wipeable.

Excellent paint
Went on well. Good even coverage. Can wipe with a damp cloth and doesn't leave marks. Colour as the label.
