GoodHome Tough & Durable Matt Emulsion is suitable for use on any wood & metal surfaces, but it's ideal for use on the walls and ceilings of high traffic areas in your home, because of its covering power and highly resistant formulation.
- Guarantee - Statutory
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly
- Stir gently before use. Apply using a brush or roller, when the temperature is between 10°C and 30°C. For best results, apply 2 coats leaving up to 4 hours between coats
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening

- This GoodHome Tough & Durable matt paint has a stain resistant finish and is extremely hard wearing for longer lasting colour. It is washable, scrubbable and repels liquids so splashes can be wiped off with ease, keeping your painted surfaces looking new for longer.

Not the best paint
Wouldn’t buy this paint again. Very thick which makes it difficult to apply. Needs 3 coats to cover most areas and will still need touching up. The dyes were on the inside of the lid where the paint mixture had been sat for a while, so either wipe these away or give a serious mix before use. But it does give a decent finish. And seems to be a tough finish. But it is cheap compared to most paints.

Brilliant paint
The swatch on the tub was pretty accurate to the actual paint. I was able to complete the job in a day, two coats produced a vibrant and full coverage. I used the paint on walls, doors, skirting and an old B&Q unit and it was equally a good on each surface. I would definitely recommend the Tough & Durable paint

Colour changes
I painted my kitchen and dining room with this paint. I would recommend getting a tester pot and painting as large an area as possible. We love the colour at night but during daylight it is quite garish and a neon peacock colour. It also has a definite sheen to it despite being a matt paint.

Excellent colour
Comes off incredibly easily. Has to constantly be filled in where it's chipped off. That aside great colour

Fab colour nightmare to clean!!!!!
I bought this colour to give some brightness to my normal go to grey colour, love the colour went on walls really well but it's a nightmare to clean shows up every little mark and when cleaned it still shows the water marks

Gorgeous colour
Normally I would go for Dulux but couldn’t find the same colour in that range so tried the own brand. Very pleasantly surprised & brilliant coverage. Was able to paint over a vinyl grey/black wallpaper with only 2 coats!! Excellent value for money
