Good value primer
Good value primer undercoat, it does need 2 coats prior to the top coat application but am pleasantly surprised at the results.

paint for novice DIY'ers
This product came in a plastic container that was very easy to open & seal shut. It did a great job on my dark wood wardrobe doors which have now had a makeover.

Good preparatory paint.
I used two coats on bare wood for exterior door and then applied two coats of satin paint over it. Seems fine to me as a preparatory coating applied to surface before painting.
