So-so
I purchased this gate as it was readily available. Not a very good design as it has built-in water traps - I wonder how long it will last before it starts to rot away?

design fault
I complained that this has a fault design. The middle part of the gate is not solid so therefore the rain will stay in the gaps which are 12cm x 3 and rot the wood. We have had to buy wood to infill these gaps

Quality poor
The finish of this product is not great. It is not as well finished as it looks on the photo. There is also an area where the three down sections go that is a water trap which I have had to have built out.

Great Gate
I bough 2 of these gates to be used as a pair. Well made and a perfect fit at the bottom of my garden.

I got this for one of are jobs we was done to finish off a fence and customer liked the style and it was made well

Gate sags and is poorly constructed
The gate is poorly constructed and sags after a week or two. You’re better off spending more and not wasting your money buying sub-standard products.

Basic/rustic gate at a reasonable price
I bought this gate to replace a rotten one. The one delivered was covered in squashed blackberries! So I took it to my local B&Q to exchange it. The middle rail has a groove in the top, which is a water trap which will cause it to rot more quickly. So, I filled it in with scrap wood. Having said all this it is a reasonable good gate at about half the price of better gates from other suppliers.

Cheap and wobbly
The gate arrived yesterday and it’s being returned immediately. The construction is flimsy, it’s already warped and I now understand what others have said about the potential for rainwater ingress. The slats in the open section sit in a groove that faces upwards, which will collect rainwater and rot. Bad design, worse execution, terrible product.

Authentic appearance
Prompt delivery for two gates ordered separately. A bit rustic with knots in the wood and imperfections, we prefer this. The picture online shows a perfect gate but wood is a natural product so mostly it is not flawless. Very happy with our gates thank you
