Poor quality wood and design
This did the job, but its made from poor-quality/ knotty and cracked timber. The design is also poor because it has a ridge at the top that can hold water, meaning water will sit there and rot it over time. The main wood spars were of such bad quality that two of the hinge screws I screwed in kept spinning because there was voids in the wood ! I hung the gate, but would not expect it to last too long.

So-so
I purchased this gate as it was readily available. Not a very good design as it has built-in water traps - I wonder how long it will last before it starts to rot away?

design fault
I complained that this has a fault design. The middle part of the gate is not solid so therefore the rain will stay in the gaps which are 12cm x 3 and rot the wood. We have had to buy wood to infill these gaps

Quality poor
The finish of this product is not great. It is not as well finished as it looks on the photo. There is also an area where the three down sections go that is a water trap which I have had to have built out.

Great Gate
I bough 2 of these gates to be used as a pair. Well made and a perfect fit at the bottom of my garden.

Gate sags and is poorly constructed
The gate is poorly constructed and sags after a week or two. You’re better off spending more and not wasting your money buying sub-standard products.

Basic/rustic gate at a reasonable price
I bought this gate to replace a rotten one. The one delivered was covered in squashed blackberries! So I took it to my local B&Q to exchange it. The middle rail has a groove in the top, which is a water trap which will cause it to rot more quickly. So, I filled it in with scrap wood. Having said all this it is a reasonable good gate at about half the price of better gates from other suppliers.
