Good steel , poor varnish
Steel good - quite mild steel and easy to cut. Paint poor- pulls away with masking tape. It would be better to just have a coat of good primer . If the durability of the 'varnish' is of importance, then look elsewhere; or strip off the varnish and use your own preferred paint system.
