looks great but not suitable for low pressure

I bought this and another grohe tap for my kitchen and utility rooms. the info states these are suitable for low pressure and high pressure systems. My plumber, after fitting these has advised they are not and we have a trickle of hot water from our gravity fed hot water tank. very misleading and i've shelled out over £200 on what i thought were good quality taps.
Super mixer tap

I bought a branded tap as some of the B&Q taps seemed to get bad reviews. This was reasonably priced and was a doddle to fit, only took 5 minutes after the old tap was removed.
Faulty grip, poor click and collect, looks great

I bought this product through click and collect for collection at Doncaster B&Q to be told that it wasn't in stock and I would have to be refunded. On looking myself a mere 3 minutes later, I saw that there were actually 2 on the shelf so paid for it again. Having taken the faucet home to be fitted, the plumber identified that the back nut did not grip. We contacted Grohe customer services who advised that this is an identified issue with this product (i.e. the shaft width is not in accordance with the specified size and therefore doesn’t offer the proper grip to mount the fixation). The plumber had to wedge the plastic grips in order to facilitate the grip. The tap is now fitted and Grohe have confirmed that the 5 year guarantee still stands so I am keeping my fingers crossed that all stays well as the tap actually looks great.
