This Hammerite paint is a great choice to give your home exterior a refresh with a durable, corrosion resistant decorative coating. Black is a versatile colour that will suit any interior and exterior design, with a hammered effect for extra depth and texture. The paint can be applied on any iron surfaces, perfect for doors, railings and furniture, and is also suitable for direct to rust application. This 2.5L size will cover up to 5m² per litre on average. For the best outcome, apply with a brush or roller.

Hammerite makes aged rust look great.
I bought this product to paint the metal rings around a half barrel I bought to use as a garden pond. The rings were rusted with age and needed to be treated I bought Hammerite because I knew I could treat the rusted metal direct and the finish would look good while preserving the metal. The texture preserves the rusted look of the rings and the paint was easy to apply and coverage was excellent, going on smoothly Durability - I expect the paint to preserve the metal for a few years and I have plenty over for next time.

Hammertoe metal paint
This paint did a great job of refreshing old gate posts. The hard work was sanding down the posts and Hammerite did the rest. Well worth the effort.

Fab product
Brilliant product which requires no primer so it makes the job lots easier! I used this to paint a structural steel that was going to be slightly visible.

So easy to use
I bought this a few weeks ago to paint my metal garden bench. It has bought it up like new. Just rub any rust off give it a coat of paint and away you g for a few more years. Totally reccomend
