This Chestnut high sheen garage door paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply with a brush or roller and leave for 4-6 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers 7m² per litre on average.

Goes a long way!
As a novice DIYer, I put on too thick a coat and had lots of drip marks. Second attempt better. Need to work it in well to get a smooth result.

Does what it says on the tin. I would buy again.
Perfect colour at an excellent price. 750 ml tin perfect for one garage door. On initially opening the tin the colour didn't seem correct. I returned to the store and the tin was shaken and stirred and the mixing process brought out out the correct colour. Lesson learned is get the tin mixed before leaving the store.

Poor coverage
I bought the tin of hammerite chestnut garage door paint at b+q Stockton 3rd April I paid more for hammerite because it usually covers well . What a disappointment, absolute rubbish, going to have to do it over again.

Absolutely perfect
Yes, when you open the tin it will be a funny shade of yellow with green flecks. Stir gently for a few minutes and you will see that it gradually turns to a green colour, then coffee with milk and finally to a lovely chestnut brown! All it needs is some patience. Works perfectly and looks amazing. Have already had compliments from the neighbours.

Product works fine.
Initially when i opened the tin, the colour had a green tint. Stirred a few times and stayed it green, thought about returning (especially after reading the reviews) however, i went back to the tin and stirred for a few more minutes and the colour changed to chestnut brown. Applied yesterday and today…..750ml tin gave 2 doors 2 coats. Happy with the job.

Absolutely awful paint
The paint is terrible, it’s nothing like the colour on the tin, it’s a horrible greeny yellow colour and it’s very runny and just drips.

Garage door
Had to mix the paint as when opened it it was green but once mixed it’s a lovely dark brown. Very shiny and looks good. Surely you all know to mix before you use it anyway ???
