Gold NOT Copper …
The result of this paint is not copper but gold and it’s not hammered effect either, bit disappointing really. Also could have got away with buying a small tin, got lots leftover after applying 2 coats, I’ve got a metal dustbin which I’m going to paint.

Not copper
Applied 3 coats. It's less copper, more shiny olive brown.

Not even close to copper
Goes on nicely and dries quickly but it's gold, not copper, it's not anywhere close to any copper I've ever seen.

not a good colour
Do not buy this if you want a copper colour. It is more like a sludgy gold/green colour.

Not copper
This Hammerite "copper" paint is not a copper colour - it is a muddy gray. Beware that Hammerite sags badly unless you apply thinly - this can manifest itself long after the paint has been applied. Best to try and keep the surface horizontal while it dries (which often requires doing a job in stages). Unfortunately, I used this on an old metal trunk and two coats weren't sufficient to cover it properly, but in any case the best effect it can produce is of a grayish muddy poorly done powder coat.

Very impressed
I bought this to paint the railing alongside our driveway. It was very easy to apply and one coat was generally sufficient to give a good finish. I did use more paint than I expected, so had to order some more.
