Excellent product
I bought Hammerite silver hammered finish to improve the surface of a rusty old manhole cover. A little rub down and two coats of paint and it looks like new.

Love, love, love it. Brilliant coverage
Bought Hammerite as I had a rusted manhole cover outside my kitchen window. I bought “hammered silver” 250ml. Two coats, just washed it well before painting to make sure no loose rust. Looks like new manhole cover.

Good paint
Used on gate latch that had started to go rusty. After a rub down to remove surface rust, the Hammerite went on easily and smoothly. One coat was all that was needed.

Incorrect colour
The site and the label on the shelf both say it should be silver grey. The EAN is the same for the product on the shelf as the label, but it only says silver. Different description and different shade. Only option now is to opt for valspar mixed metal paint to get the shade.

Just the job
I used this to paint an old rusty radiator. I sanded down and removed old flaking paint. Two coats of this and the finish on the radiator is very good. I'm very happy with it.
