Good - did the job
Bought this a month ago, did what it’s supposed to do.

Does the job, but only just.
Bought to patch up larger areas of masony prior to decorating. As I look after my tools well I prefer to invest in better quality tools rather than cheap items that are used once and discarded or allowed to rust. I chose this item because of the wooden handle, which is more comfortable to use and longer lasting (in my experience) than a plastic handle. On unpacking, which was a job in itself and required the use of scissors and a sharp knife, I was rather disappointed with the finish. The two-part wooden handle is rivetted to the tang, which goes the whole length of the handle, as it should. There are only two rivets holding the handle in place, the end of the handle is secured with a large eyelet, which can be used for hanging but serves no other purpose. The handle moves slightly, indicating some slackness in the rivets and the handle has not been well finished post-manufacture. The wood does not fit the tang exactlyand there has been no attempt to trim or rub-down the wood and the end-grain is very rough. The blad is not as flexible as I would like and, to be honest, I have scrapers that are not much stiffer. There is no branding on the tool and no indication anywhere to it's country of manufacture. It feels as if it has been made cheaply but was not sold at a budget price.
