Product is fine but solvent/adhesive is problem
Product is fine but solvent/adhesive is impossible to get. Do not buy unless you have no intention of joining 2 pieces or sealing them to an upstand

Hi-Mac worktops - as good as natural stone!
Saw this product whilst looking at quartz worktops. Advisor (Charlie) in our local branch (Barnstaple) was very knowledgable and emailed fitting instructions etc. good service, quick delivery, great product.

Impossible to get seamless joins
I'm much the same as the other reviewers with the issue of the joins. Avoid the plain white & you might just be OK. Agree that the gun and the glue are far too expensive & I'm not even sure the matching adhesive is a perfect match.

Visable joins
Lovely looking worktop but our installers have had really problems with the joins. We purchased the expensive hi macs glue and the extortionate silly gun, it has been sanded LOTS & we feel if we sand anymore we'll have half a worktop but we still have visable greyish beige lines. Very upset and annoyed. Any tips would be much appreciated.

Not hardwearing/stain resistant
Absolute waste of money! It looks lovely but stains and scratches really easily! Absolutely gutted, waited years for a new kitchen and this stuff is a sponge!

Beautiful worksurface
I have remodelled my kitchen over the the last 3 months and this worksurface was the finishing touch. It was the perfect choice

2 years later, still looking great!
Have had these installed for two years and they still look like new. God knows what the other reviewers issues are But get a good fitter and with a decent router you’ll have no problems. We have no chips, no scratches (that I can see) and it still looks awesome. Note that even if it did scratch or chip, you can sand it out!

Exceptional worktop
Delighted with this worktop. Thankfully our installer had experience with this type of product. It is remarkable how well the joins have been hidden. The worktop is strong and looks stunning. Very important to smooth the edges down! It doesn't look any different, but they are SHARP before they are sanded down.

Top notch worktop
Bought this for our new utility room as it was the exact length needed and was half price. It’s heavy at circa 65kg and needs to be cut with a router but if you use a tungsten carbide tipped bit and set it up well it’s a doddle. Notched the worktop out for pipes and cut out for an inset sink. It looks and feels heavy quality just what we needed
