Home fire logs
I buy these because as a disabled person I can't manage storage of wood and bringing it in. These are compact and easily stored. They burn slowly and hot

Great heat output
These light easily meaning that kindling is not essential. They give out a lot of heat and do last quite a while but not as cheap as logs.

Smelly soot monsters
We got these logs to help carry us over until delivery of kiln dried wood would be delivered. While they burned easily enough and gave out decent heat, two big issues: an unpleasant odour and ended up covering nearly the entire stove glass with soot.
