Produced from nickel-plated brass, this connector is strong, durable, scratch and frost resistant. Securely attaches to 95% of outdoor threaded taps, by simply screwing it onto the end of the tap. It includes a ½″ adaptor for older taps. Ideal for use with the Hozelock quick connect system, to ensure a leak-free connection every time.

Leaks
Expected this to be great but isn’t, just use the cheaper yellow connector which doesn’t leak.

Most Durable Product of its Type
Living in the Sunny South of the UK, I find that all-plastic versions of this type of connector deteriorate and fail after a few years. These do not. I have had to use PTFE tape to seal the tap-to-connector thread when fitting some of these.
