The product has a leak in it.
I bought the product a few weeks ago. The bath has been installed but when I have a bath water leaks out. The plug hole is not fit for purpose. I am gutted now as the bath is already sealed in.

Poor
I bought this June 23 and had trouble with tap holes ( VERY large) also I alway put a wooden battern against wall for extra support but the underside of the bath was extremely bowed and would not sit straight

Nice Bath, why are holes for the taps so large?
I'm pleased with this bath but like another reviewer pointed out the holes for the taps are far to big. When you put the backnuts on tap they only just cover the holes and the backnut sealing washer goes through the tap hole.. I got around this problem by cutting out a square of 1/8 plywood, drilled a 25mm hole(1 inch) in the middile for the tap to pass through. On the bath side of the ply I coated it in plumbers mate. I then put this plywood square onto the tap before fitting the sealing washer and backnut.

Don’t waste your money
This bath was the worst I have fitted, its thin, flexes far too much, the legs are too short and it bows in the middle.

ideal standard vue bath
I have returned the bath due to ideal standard logo lazar printed onto side of bath by tap holes, shame about that. otherwise good bath.

Excellent solid bath
Having a bathroom replaced, difficult to choose a bath without seeing it so chose a mid range one, Ideal Standard a reliable brand. Really pleased with my choice. Solid, appealing to look at, nice square end near the taps & curved end with adequate space to put toiletries etc. The plumber commented on it being a well made substantial bath rather than the cheaper ones that are flimsy & don't last. He had no problems installing it.

Bath bows and large tap holes
The bath bows approx 5mm in the centre along the length. Makes sealing and tiling difficult. The pre drilled bath tap holes are to big at 38mm hard to seal and get enough purchase on the tap nuts. I had to go out and buy more washers and larger flanged nuts - as I’d assembled it and could t return. Not worth the hassle, extra work or costs involved.
