JG Speedfit Push-fit Shut-off Tap
Product details
Product information
Push-fit fitting for the connection of plastic and copper pipe. The valve allows isolation of appliances such as a washing machine or dishwasher for maintenance or installation. Simply push the valve fully on to the pipe and thread the appliance hose on to the valve. Should the need arise to demount the connection push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe to release. Installation can be reduced by around 40% against traditional fixing methods.

Poorly Made
From opening it you can see it is not well made. Although the plastic body is solid, the valve fits poorly meaning water flow is reduced when it is in the on position and It hisses badly and there is still some flow when in the off position. Within two weeks it was leaking through the mechanism and ruined some adjacent plaster. Avoid like the plague.

Easy to fit last for years daily use
I have fitted many of these shut off taps and found them very easy and quick to fit and even if used daily will last for years
