Product information
Push-fit plastic fitting for the connection of plastic and copper pipe. Simply push the fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock in place. Should the need arise to demount the connection unlock the nut and push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe to release. The fitting ensures an easier working environment in confined places and removes the need for hot works on site. Installation can be reduced by around 40% against traditional fixing methods. Note: With all plastic pipes the relevant manufacturer’s pipe insert is required.

Exact replacement and cheaper than the O-rings!
I bought this last month while replacing a worktop where I'd needed to disconnect the taps and found that this was an exact replacement for the one I'd taken off and was easier than trying to find and bug the O-rings which needed replacing. In any event this was cheaper that a pack of O-rings when I only needed the ones for the coupler.

Easy to use
This was the first time I have used Push-Fit fixings and I was pleased with how easy it was to fit and even with giving the two pipes a bit of a tug the coupler stayed true and with no leaks. I shall be using Push-Fit fixings from now on.

Buyer be aware
Nothing wrong with the item as such, does what it is supposed to do and easy to fit. However be aware that the package does not contain all of the items required to connect your pipework leak free. After purchasing the item and getting home I reviewed the fitting instructions on the rear of the package and the first instruction informs you to fit the insert to the pipe before fitting the coupling, there is no insert in the pack and it needs to be purchased separately, wasn't too happy to find this out after arriving home and had to return to my local store to purchase the insert, also not happy with the fact that I had to purchase a pack of ten inserts when I only needed one. Surely the pack should contain all the parts necessary to do the job it is supposed to do.

best thing since sliced bread
if its a tight area and you don't want to set fire to wals or floor timbers where these little darlings are to go, then these are the boys, no soldering, push together twist to lock and job done

Terrible
Guaranteed for 25 years. 3 Failed in the same property within a year. Buy these if you want to lift floorboards several times!
