This high quality water based paint with a sophisticated soft matt finish is the perfect choice to update your interior walls & ceilings.
- Guarantee - Statutory
- Surface Preparation - Surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free from grease, dust and dirt. Old oil based surfaces should first be sanded to provide a key and then primed using a quality water based primer. (N.B. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable dust mask if dry sanding and take special precautions when sanding pre-1960's oil based paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead). Surface priming with a quality water based primer is generally recommended where there is doubt about the surface to be painted with Laura Ashley Water Based Eggshell. Greasy or dirty surfaces should first be washed using a mild detergent or sugar soap and allowed to dry thoroughly.
- Instructions for Storage - Store in a cool, well ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed.

Worth the money
Recently bought this product in Ivory for my tv lounge & I just love it. It is the absolutely perfect neutral pale cream. Neither too pale or too dark, too grey or too yellow. If you want a neutral winter white base for your colour scheme this is the product for you. We’d painted our porch in this & then looked for a cheaper paint in the same colour to do the tv room & hall/stairs/landing etc…& countless testers later, of all brands of paint, we discovered it was impossible to match it for shade or finish. Every time we walked into the porch we realised this is what we’re trying to find - it has just a lovely lightness & glow to it. You can completely see the difference when you have other products next to it to compare it to. Another thing I love about LA paint is it’s very quick drying - which makes it much quicker to get the job done. Loses one star because the coverage could be a little stronger? But, that said, I’d rather throw on an extra coat of this than use a better coverage paint with a poorer finish.

Terrible smell!
Have bought 2 x 5lts tins over the last couple of months. Both left the smell of rotten eggs for at least 2 weeks! As I professional decorator this is usually an indicator of out of date stock! There is a barcode, but no use by date. Would not buy again!
