Covered dark colour so well.
I found this paint was so good at covering over dark blue walls. I only needed to do two coats to have a perfect white finish. Amazing ability to hide old dark colour.

Brilliant coverage
I bought this to paint over a BLACK ceiling which was not a task I was looking forward to but needed to be done nonetheless. I was dreading having to use a milky paint that needed a million coats to cover, however this has made quick work of the job! The first coat has covered the black surface so incredibly well, I think we will only need a total of 3 coats to get a nice even finish. Easy to work with, nice thick texture that spreads evenly and the colour is brilliant white. I will now only use this brand for our ceilings!

Poor coverage - NOT pure brilliant white
I’ve been using this paint today to paint over existing white emulsion - very poor coverage - I shall have to do a second coat, little marks show through. Worse than that though is the fact that it is isn’t really brilliant white. As soon as you start on the woodwork alongside it with brilliant white woodwork paint, the Leyland emulsion appears to have an off-white/creamy look. My advice… pay a bit more and buy better quality paint. I will be doing just that for the second coat that I shouldn’t have needed to do as I only intended this job as a ‘freshen up’.

Brilliant coverage
After already buying this emulsion then reading some of the bad reviews we really were dreading trying it . Can honestly say we are converts ! It was so thick and creamy and it had such brilliant coverage with just 2 coats over plaster board we will be buying more to do the whole house with it as ive still got patches from using another known brand on 3 coats on my stairs as i gave up trying to cover it .
