You can use a brush, roller or spray to apply an even layer. This paint needs 2 coats to look its best, but its quick drying formula makes up for lost time, as you can recoat after just 2-4 hours. Always use this emulsion paint as it is a good paint which covers well and does not smell too much. Bought from B&Q on this occasion as with a discount and 20% free it was the cheapest I could get locally.
