Bought to do doors frames and skirting, really good gloss paint, very thick but still easy to apply and smooth, dries within 2 hours tacky 4 hours completely dry, does smell so good ventilation recommended.

5l leyland trade gloss
I have used this product for about three years now and never use any other gloss products, b and q have it in bigger sizes and cost about the same amount as a standard smaller size, it covers the woodwork extremely easily with a small roller and good quality gloss brush, 2 coats and it looks great and lasts forever

Reconsider if your tempted buy
Due to having 7 doors that need re painting Used Johnson and dulux satinwood before and its chipped very easily. So chose Leyland high gloss 5L Doors were lightly re sanded cleaned Not impressed from the start, if could take used can back I would!! Paint is thin, it runs no matter, fumes are sickly even with all windows open. Waited over 24hrs do 2nd coat, annoying it's coverage is still no better!! Not worth the money

Leyland Trade Gloss
Brought this for doors that had been stained and vanished. Used layland undercoat and then two coats of gloss. As with all trade gloss they are thinner than the retail, spread better for more coverage with high pigment. I found this to spread ok but not great using a little at a time and needed to work the paint, got half way down a door and needed to brush out the start of a couple of runs and it was already going off and pulled the paint. Did not completely flatten and could see brush strokes. I could also see some dark areas so did not completely cover the vanished wood. I have used Dulux Trade int he past and got a small can, de-nibbed and painted over as a test. First the Dulux was a brighter white, it spread easier and went further, touched up a couple of runs and there was also one on the other side of the door after I finished the first side and paint still spread so it does not go off as quick. Covered all the dark patches remaining and the main thing was the finish. It covered and flatted the brush marks for a nearly flat finish. Dulux is twice the cost so you expect it to be a better product but if you want to paint new wood or white painted wood at a cheap price it would be a good choice.

This is just another pot of paint. Does what it says on the tin!
