- Brush or roller application
- Instructions for Use - Stir well before use. Apply by a brush or roller which should be clean and free from solvent and oil. Apply liberally, brushing firmly into the surface. Do not apply when the air or surface temperature is below 10ºC or externally when rain is imminent. A second coat serves as an excellent undercoat for gloss finishes. Under normal conditions, touch dry in 30 minutes, recoatable after 1-2 hours. High humidity can retard the drying time

Amazing texture of paint
The paint is great for undercoat especially… It covers great all colour and gives an amazing base for finishing colour. The texture is perfect. Highly recommend!

This product is amazing
I used this product to paint my shelves I made using MDF, it looks really good and dries in just 2 hours so was able to use the shelves the same day just after 2 coats of primer.

A little disappointed
A little disappointed in this product. Drying time is fairly quick. However, once dried the MDF pieces needed a fair few coats as it was still very patchy even after two coats. We needed up buying another pot just to get the smooth base we were hoping for before adding the top coat.

Does the job
Works well on wood based surfaces. Can need x2 coats to fully cover. Dries quickly.

Amazing!
I had to get this as doing panelling in hallway using Mdf. First coat went on and almost disappeared due to the Mdf soaking it in. I then thought it will take loads of coats before I could use wall paint. Well 2nd coat went on like a dream and fully covered it all so painted with colour later that same day and it looks amazing. This is definitely worth it and covers so well with 2 coats. Didn’t use a lot of the primer so have plenty left for more panelling

Works well, good price for a ‘specialised’ paint.
Do you need a specialised paint for MDF? I don’t know. I have other primers knocking around the house but this was a sensible price and a biggish job of promising bookshelves so why not? Spreads well and certainly seems to do the job with such a porous material.
