decent beginner vice
bought this for a new workbench build. vice is fairly small and has no quick clamp but would be great for any beginner or someone who will use it occasionally for DIY projects. If you are experienced or looking for a vice you will use a lot id recommend a bigger vice

Good for Hobbyist
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn’t come with table joining bolts. A lot of play in the rails. Needs a second bracket coupling at the back rather than just one. Fine for lightweight projects. Inner faces don’t deliver a great clamping force, but it’s not too bad. Need to add pieces of wood, as there isn’t enough friction on the clamping. Rotating arm could be further from the clamp.

Hard to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for some diy around the house but it’s falls apart very easily and I honestly think it wouldn’t last long if used daily, the clamp doesn’t fully meet to the other side so not designed for thin pieces of wood

Useful tool

Nice bit of kit for general DIY
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vice is a good size and nice and sturdy once you manage to get it connected to your work bench which I found a little fiddly. Great for general home DIY- I've used it to hold some small bits of fencing I was cutting down to size and couldn't fault it. I'd say for big jobs you may need something more heavy duty. Overall really happy with it.

Sturdy and reliable

Great clamping vice

Great quality vice
