The blades blunt almost instantly, can run your fingers on. And the adjustment is hard to keep fixed.

Had it a few years and each time I reach for this smoothing plane I need to take it apart and set it . Has cost me so much in time alone even when it works, each stroke is cutting a little different no matter how much I tighten it all up. I've smoothed oak, pine, fir , beech , iroko and Mahogany. Only softwood that's nigh on perfectly thicknessed already worked well.
Good for the money

Looked a bit cheap out of the box. I cleaned up, watched a few videos on line on how to set it up. Had to give the blade a sharpen. Once it was set up it worked well. Only used for a short period but seems like it will do the job for an entry level tool.
This plane Was terrible

I bought this product today and it’s literally useless, had to keep taking it apart to get it to work. Wouldn’t waste your money.
