Very rough finish!
When my wife brought me this ‘Magnusson’ combination square, I just could not believe how rough machining it was made of, ALL edges were razor sharp, I even got a cut on my finger

Very rough and sharp edges
I bought just for its value (so this is verified purchase in a way), not its precision or it’s quality, it has “very sharp edges” and “very poor and rough machining” I fined sanded to smooth it out, of the edges EASY to give cuts if you are not wearing gloves

Not square
I needed a better square because my old one has taken a beating over the years. I bought this and needed it today, I should have checked it was square the same day I bought it. It isn't square, I went back to B&Q and checked the others on the display, none were square so no point doing a swap

I reckon there are quality variations in the manufacture of these things. As the reviews show, they don't always read square. Answer, take a piece of ply with you into the shop and test the square both ways. If they agree, the square is square. Pity this is not done at factory level.

Not good quality
Difficult to slide the ruler. Flimsy. Rough edges. Probably don’t agree with one of the reviews that says it is not square. The ruler’ groove might have been out of its place.

Is not true square
Bought a month or so ago, and just gone to use it, have discovered its way of square, very poor indeed.
