I wanted a big axe, I got a big axe!
Wanted a big two handed axe for chopping down some thick trees in conjunction with a bow saw. It did the job however I chose to buy a chainsaw for the remaining trees and cutting the stumps off lower. (Much less labour intensive.) I may use it in the future to cut through roots.

Much better than anticipated
I bought this medium weight axe specifically to get a tree stump out. I needed a the shorter swing as I was in a hole most of the time. For the price I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised by its quality and feel. The blade has been into a lot of roots and hitting things it shouldn't like stones but has come up as sharp as it was out of the shop. Has had a few miss hits resulting in the handle taking a few knocks but no sign of it after a rub down. Great axe generally.

Chopping Chop Chop
I used this for splitting nearly ton of wood. It definitely does the job. It's light which gives you a good swing. Being light also works against you when you have so much wood to split. I would say this is a good little addition to my shed

All round good axe
I’ve chopped some logs, split some kindling and whittled a twiggy branch thing. Weight distribution good, can be used with one hand to split scrap wood for kindling. Just needed a whetstone to sharpen it up, which i assume is the case for most blades sold online anywhere…

A bigger axe required
6 months ago I purchased the slightly smaller axe which is great for creating kindling, However some of the logs were proving to be different, so the purchase of the new one

Well designed axe
I bought this to help cut down a fairly large fir tree in our garden. Whilst a chain saw cut through much of the tree above ground, this axe was invaluable chopping the roots out.

Great axe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is very happy with this chopping axe . It chops really well, the base is nice and sharp and it comes with a safety blade guard on it . Overall the axe has been made really well , the grip is very good, it’s nicely balanced not too heavy but not light either. As well as the safety guard it also comes with a case that has a loop so you can nicely hung up in your work shed . Very very happy with this product

Great quality
