DID THE JOB
I bought this to file down some metal bolts which I’d cut down and had some rough edges and I couldn’t fit the nuts back on. Did the job well and will be a useful tool in my DIY box

Does what’s it needs to do
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tool and can’t fault it in anyway. Nice strong comfortable handle. Nice size file to be able to do most jobs. Great amount of teeth on the blade which makes light work on the metal. Great price too.

It has been able to complete any task I have required for it, especially at providing me a smooth finish. The handle is ergonimcally comfortable and allows me to crack on with the task in hand within any hand strain

Almost perfect for a model railway enthusiast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The file has been tested on nickel silver and performed well.It cuts it nicely and doesn't clog up although if you want a smooth surface it's not quite there. The smooth edge should allow for the filing of just one surface (as in the internal corner of a right angle) but the abrasive teeth of the file slightly overlap the smooth face so you risk cutting the surface of the angle you're not smoothing. It's a small issue and for non modellers might not be a problem

Sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used this on a few jobs I can definitely say it’s sturdy and does the job. The handle is comfortable making use fairly easy. It’s sharp and lasts I’ll definitely be buying the full set to see if they are all as good.
