Very effective secateurs but tricky to use.
I bought these without doing any research or having any recommendations after our previous preferred secateurs mysteriously disappeared. I find them remarkably effective and efficient (as expected when new) but a bit bulky and occasionally difficult to get close to where I wish to make a cut. My wife is reluctant to use them so far because of their weight and bulk but that, at least, means that they are always where I last left them!!

Handy Features
Brought these secateurs to replace our old ones. Thought it would be useful to have the ratchet system for pruning thicker parts. Also a good idea that you can get a replacement blade. Used a few times now and found them comfortable to use and do the job.

Waste of money
Total waste of money. Broken spring within 3 months of purchase. Simply not good enough, basement budget quality with a premium price tag.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for cutting back small shrubs. Easily dealt with newer branches on a maple tree (about 2cm thick) Although different from my previous secateurs, I soon got used to the grip without the need for gloves. Easy to clean the blade too.

Brilliant sharp & so useful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these. You dont notice your secateurs going blunt but you certainly notice when you get a nice new sharp pair. Great for anyone, I have arthritis and these take all the hard work out of cutting back the garden.
