Robust, accurate and generally perfect
Of course, it does what it's supposed to do. It cuts round pipes. I only tried it on pipes that used to be part of a bathroom towel rail. I think they're steel or something similar. I'd usually expect a pipe cutter like this to be used on copper pipes, but it worked well on the towel rails. Recommended.

Does the job on steel.
I bought this to cut a steel steerer tube to length on some mountain bike suspension forks. Was sceptical it would go through steel and it did spiral a bit at first but that was probably more me than the pipe cutter. Once I tightened a bit more I got a nice straight line going and about a minute later cut through nicely. Used the built-in deburring blade but also a round metal file to clean up the rough edges. I only used it once for this job but I think it could still go through a lot more if needed as the blade/wheel still felt fine afterwards. I would definitely recommend. Great tool! Delivered quickly with no problems.

Good quality copper pipe cutter
Used on 15mm pipe mainly and the blade remains sharp after 50-60 cuts. It’s a nice size and worth the money.

Copper Cutting
Bought these copper cutters when installing some new copper pipe. They worked fine. Just be careful not to over tighten as they do “ tramline” if you do.
