My Take: Magnusson Mitre Box & Saw
For basic DIY, the Magnusson mitre box & saw does the job. It's decent for getting those 45° and 90° cuts, and it's a good value, especially for small projects like skirting boards or coving. The saw itself is okay for general use. However, it's not the sturdiest piece of kit. If you're doing a lot of precise work, or working with larger pieces, you might want to invest in something more robust. But for occasional use, it's a handy tool to have around.
