Does the job

Splitting Wedge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is handy to have round when splitting wood yourself. Useful to drive through a hard to split piece of wood. We used it in small cracks to drive them open, along side a large mallet. I would recommend this product to others.

Hard work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having tried to use this wood wedge a few times now I have gone back to my axe and hatchet which I find much easier to use. The woodwedge is not particularly sharp so takes some knocking on before going for the big blow to split the log which requires a lot of force, ideally from a sledge hammer. If you're swinging a sledge hammer, for me you might as well swing am axe which is usually sharper and you're less likely to miss. I found it clumsy to use and can't see any situation where it is better than my hatchet axe.

Brilliant tool

Did the job!

Good wedge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good splitting wedge, nicely balanced and weighted so that when it’s used correctly not too much pressure is required to split the wood. Not too heavy for carrying around and looks to be easy to sharpen (which I’ve not done yet).

Great product
