Indispensable
I bought this last month to cut quarry tiles for the outside of the house, along with a diamond cutting blade. I could not have done the job without it. The angle grinder cut through the quarry tiles like butter, with virtually no chipping. The angle grinder was easy to use and not heavy, so it was simple to make accurate cuts to the quarry tiles. I also used the grinding blade to smooth down some concrete which was protruding underneath the door facia. Again because the grinder is both light a robust, it make short work of this despite the tricky angle. All in all this is now an indispensable tool in my tool kit.

eARLY DAYS BUT FEELS LIKE A WINNER
i had a Macallister previous it lasted 3 yrs but was a bear to use, very awkward switch and a heavy grinder too.When it packed in [that switch] i had a close look at the rivals and both the dewalt and the makita had a good on and off switch so i went for the makita really feels good quality and balanced

Brillant Product
Bought this in replacement of having two of the cheaper McAllister grinders. Defo worth paying the extra. You won't go wrong with this product. Better switch. Better guard. Reliable. And it's still going strong... very happy!
