Not great but not awful
Bought this to replace an open vent for my bathroom extractor as the cold was coming in. Was easy to replace like for like but the non return flap is so loose that the first stormy night it came flying off. After finding it in my neighbours garden I strengthen the join with a bit of electrical tape so it still does what it needs to do but without the risk of flying off. Needs to be redesigned so the flap doesn’t come off so easily or at all.

Bad design
Fragile hinge which broke while adjusting to reduce noise. The wind gets into the vent and is very irritating day and night if breezy outside. Bad design.

GOOD PRODUCT
BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT PREVIOUSLY WITH NO PROBLEM. ONE LUG HAS NOW BROKEN CAUSING IT TO BANG IN THE WIND, WILL BE BYING ANOTHER TOMORROW

Waste of money
Bought this vent after reading that the cowl protects against the wind, not so it's that badly made that the cowl part has blown off a few times when windy and ended up using silicone to hold it in place, along with the flap banging when fan not switched on it ia a waste of time and money using this product
