Nice product, but misleading description & picture
The description & picture for this product are wrong! The pack actually contains two reducers, the first reducing down from 150mm (6”) to 125mm (5”), and the second from 125mm to 100mm (4”). I bought these reducers to install my new kitchen extractor hood, which has a 150mm outlet, but I wanted it to vent through a 100mm flexible PVC tube. The fit between the two reducers was rather loose, so I glued them together with PVC cement, and this provided an airtight joint. I lined the inside of the 150mm inlet with draught excluder foam to provide a snug fit on the fan outlet, and taped the flexible hose to the 100mm outlet using the special white PVC tape from the same manufacturer. This product is absolutely fine & does what it’s supposed to, but the description & photos really need updating!

DOES THE JOB
AS DESCRIBED. GOOD QUALITY. I HAD TO GET DUCT TAPE TO SECURE TO HOSE. DIDN'T MENTION ON PACKAGING AS SOMETHING I NEED TO HAVE TO FIX PEICES TOGETHER.

Fits in a very tight space
Fitted this beneath some joists and only had to lower the ceiling 50mm this adapt or did the job perfectly. We now have a ducted extract fan in our new cloakroom

rectify extraction through wall.
150mm extract fan had been fitted without any ducting through the wall to the outside where a wall plate grill hid the hole in the brickwork,yuk!! The reducer was ideal to transform from 150mm diameter down to 100mm diameter to attach to a louvered grill fitted flush into the exposed brickwork.

Just the job
The reducer we got looked nothing like the picture, it was in fact two separate components one reducing from 150-125 and another from 125-100. However with the addition of a roll of duct tape it worked perfectly.

wrong picture
The picture shows a tapered connection round to rectangular. Unfortunately in store I found it is not a taper it is a short connection. This was discovered when I called in to Reading store. The error was reported.

SMALL OUTLAY - BIG RESULT
