Brilliant im very happy 👌😀
I bought this vent a few weeks ago for tumble dryer doing exactly 💯 letting air out !! Delighted that it works so good & very simple to attach hose to product as clothes dryer is in shed!! fixing so easy but be careful as vent quiet delicate could break easily!! Other than that worth buying 🤗

good looking
This is really nice looking & easy to fit, i have never fitted one of these before but we had a flat one which when windy we could tell. With this hooded one we cannot tell much about the wind. very good value, good quality would buy recommend, great product.

Does the job but with minor issues
Good for what I needed it for but it was a struggle to break the clips of the square part if you needed it for a round fitting, the foam sealant was needed to get it to fit correctly.

Flimsy and hard to get a seal
I agree with previous comments (and wish I had paid attention) as they have tried to make it work with both rectangular and circular pipework, so by the time you click off and remove the rectangular shape out the way (assuming you're using circular pipes) then you're left with a very weak area to connect to. It's also not a complete circle, there are gaps all the way around it so you can't get a seal. By trying to please everyone with one item you've made it worthless to both. Make two, properly, for both shapes of hose.

Very flimsy vent
I bought this vent as I was relocating my tumble dryer, in initially it looks OK but the rear of the vent is now made so its adaptable with round and rectangular piping so you have not a complete 100mm circle and you have to snap off the rectangular parts to fit the 100mm round pipe which makes the back of the the vent very weak and completely sealing pipe to vent not possible without lots of expanding foam or mastic, it also keeps tapping in the wind as the flap is very fin and not heavy so all night long I hear tap tap. My old vent was made by marley and was excellent and was originally bought from b&q 10 years ago. Other diy retailers have also changed to the same as b&q

Noisy
I bought this vent to replace the existing because it had a built in cover that would reduce any draught from coming in the house but, although it was easy to fit, it was immediately obvious that it was extremely noisy when the wind catches the flap. In fact it banged all the time which was extremely irritating. I cannot therefore recommend this.

Easy to install
I had to change my vent hood due to wind damage on a old slatted type. The covered hood has been a success, easy to install, and cut down on wind noise.
