Not for amateurs
Mixed this up as per instructions. Only has 30mins workable time limit then it’s unusable. No idea why the need for the ludicrous set time. Impossible to use it in the time allowed. Either mix in small batches or buy ready mixed.

Worked perfect with my tiles

Used this product for nearly ten years
I've used this same product for nearly ten years in my home and I haven't had to re-grout it yet.

Got this as it is the colour that is required (This is the preferred colour from a lot of ranges, including the smaller bags of grey Mapei. So the colour is good, You need to work quick. this 5kg, when mixed as they say lasts for around 20 minutes before being too hard to use. I wasted over half the first bag and the bucket as I could not get it out. Got a second bag and via process of trial and error. Mix the bag well DRY Get a paint kettle, a pyrex jug, kitchen scales. Zero your paint kettle on the scales, add 625g of power. In your CLEAN bucket, add just over 100ml of water. Pour in the dry mix with the paddle mixer. Seems like nothing happens and then it will kind of clump like a pastry / crumble mix. add more water in about 10ml quantities - it only needs small amounts. You will get to an amount you can work with and makes cleaning the bucket easier ready for the next batch (there is still wastage, but acceptable) Normally use ready mixed as it is easier and consistent, but did not find a colour that was liked, so this was the choice. Not getting this one again. Another Mapei with a longer pot life ? maybe too early to tell if it lasts / cracks
