Dangerous fire risk. Live wire material burnt off.
Dangerous fire risk. Live wire material burnt off when running at 2.7kwh. Happened a second time after rewiring it myself with a completely different 13A fuse and plug.

Decent bit of kit
Well made thick cable, just remember only plain flat plugs otherwise you can’t close the cover to secure

Perfect for my needs
I wanted a rain safe extension lead for connecting my low-power EV charger ("granny charger") to a household 3-pin socket. So the lead is fully unwound and is used for extended time. Nothing bad to report! Just does what it should. It can be a little/minor challenging to close the clamp, but I've repeatedly managed.

Absolutely rubbish
Purchased this as an extension for my car charger. The clip doesn’t stay shut when the plug is inside. Therefore rendering the product useless and fit for outdoor use.

Falls apart
Purchased 2 of these to use near hot tub. Light use over the last 9 months, mostly stored in shed. One fell apart in my hands, when live. B&Q still responding to complaint.

Poor quality
I bought this extension about a year ago but after about 6 months the fuse blew replaced it and it seems to be working again but after a few days it blew so unable to change fuse left it till now 4 May 2020 replaced the fuse and then checked the product completely found multiple breaks in cable and one with melted ends do not buy I believe it to be unsafe
