Wrong information
I bought this product based on description that it is oak. It isn’t oak- it is oak veneer, on MDF. Had to travel a few miles to get this and then had to travel back to return it. It is incorrect and wrong information- shame that I didn’t get a compensation for it.

Smart Oak Veneer Boards
I actually bought several of these oak veneer boards to use them as smart shelving. I have used them in conjunction with the Form Twinny shelf uprights and shelving brackets - they have created a very smart-looking open shelving arrangement in our lounge.

poor quality
the oak veneer is far to thin impossible to sand, if you think of a thickness akin to wall paper you would be in the right ballpark do not buy, i am very disappointed

Not Oak it’s MDF
Drove 45 mins to collect what is listed as a Oak window board but it’s not. It is an Oak veneered MDF window board so was no use to me. Very disappointed especially as it’s listed as the material being Oak

Not oak
It should probably say somewhere online that these are not solid oak. They are oak veneered. B&Q used to sell a solid oak window board. I'd have saved myself a trip had I known these were MDF.

bit disappointing
This is not oak (as described in the technical specifications). It is mdf with an oak veneer, although the veneer doesn't look like real wood, at least not anything like the solid oak skirting boards, etc it is sitting next to on the shelves. If it had, I may not have returned it after buying it click n collect. I don't think it makes "the perfect finishing touch to any room" and the online description is misleading.
