Excellent xylo
I brought the wood to make a housing to hide the rubbish bins outside. The wood was perfect for the job no planks were warped or split , just right for the intended purpose.

It was a plank
It’s plank. I sawed it up into the right length pieces. It sawed very well. I sanded the edges. It sanded very well. I drilled holes in the pieces. It drilled very well. I screwed the pieces together. It accepted screws quite happily.

Good quality timber but you have to look for it
Had I look through all the pieces in store to find the two I required. Most of the timber was either bent, split or heavily knotted.

Unusable
I'm not sure how you're supposed to build anything straight with this timber, I sifted through pretty much every length they had in the store & chose what looked like the straightest one, yet when I got it home & put it up against some square edges it was way out.
