Poor
I wanted 2.4m of 2x2 PSE timber. I tried Pontypridd store but there were no single lengths which were actually straight, only 4-packs. I tried Merthyr Tydfil store, they splt a pack for me. It was almost straight. Working it to make a fanlight window frame, various splits were opening up as the wood was being shaped. Not impressed, difficult to return after working it!

Utterly Useless
Bought set of these....every single one bent as a nine bob note. 'Smoothly planed' is a joke...rough, splintered edges on all of them. Overpriced as scrap wood

Waste
Boards warped beyond belief no edges were planed straight and rough patches all over wood, also there edge had a different thickness, for example one end could be 4cm thick and the other end of the same piece would be 3.8cm thick making it near impossible to get accurate aligning mitre cuts with.

"smooth planed" may be a bit of a stretch
I was expecting slightly better quality from purchasing these at the price given. "Smooth planed" just isn't true. There are lots of rough surfaces on all faces which are nowhere near "smooth" and don't look like they've been through a planer. Or if they have, it probably needs sharpening. About 4 out of the 9 I purchased were acceptably straight. One was quite badly warped. the other 4 had a slight kink about a metre in.
