wood for internal use
good finish and nice and straight, just as I wanted

Smooth but some splitting
The timber was smooth and splinter free but the only problem was that length was starting to split as I was cutting

As described
The timber was ok, straight enough to be pulled in line however did vary on size slightly. Once in the house it did shrink quite a bit. That said it painted well and the knots seemed stable.
