Unusual Application
I have a small asthetic problem with an existing 13amp single socket outlet. It is mounted such that the face is 90degrees to the normal. The reason is because one of the horizontal fixing lugs in the wall box had broken off so I had to use the 2 vertical ones to fix it securely.. Being in a prominent view, visitors would often enquire why it was not upright. I decided to use the pattress box as a go between the wall box and the socket to correct the alignment. To do so I had to drill a couple of holes in the pattress to fix it at 90 degrees to the norm on the wall box, knock through the rear to allow the cable through and then mount the socket the correct way up. Easy fix to an odd installation.

Poor quality
Very brittle, tightened screws to secure it to a wall and the whole thing split

Poor quality control
Bought with a matching MK switch plate so screw holes should line up but they don't. Even opening holes up to 4.5mm dia. still struggled to get screws in. Not an isolated case as other reviews state same. Returning it to B&Q.
