To many large stone instead of medium size, so had to crush them myself.

Type 1 MOT or dust
Extremely disappointed with the quality of the product can't believe they delivered it and called it type 1 MOT it was mainly dust ! My previous delivery from another supplier was cheaper and far superior. I shall not be using B&Q for this product again.

I bought this to repair potholes in the drive and it has been great. A good mix of small and large sizes which lock together when tamped down.

Dust to 40mm my backside
Purchased two bags of this from B&Q, never again. They claim it's from dust to 40mm. It isn't, it contained loads of rocks some as big as 150mm. I would advise anyone purchasing this rubbish from B&Q to go elsewhere.

Some of the stones are massive!!!!
As far as I'm aware and from what I've had before, MOT TYPE 1 is meant to be made up of varying sizes of stone 40mm or less so as to be easily compactable. One of the two bulk bags that looks like it was quarried from Bath stone has rocks in it that are massive. I fact a lot of massive rocks one in particular is 100mm!! They were cilunningly put at the bottom of the bag so I've spread most of the bag out and can't return it as I would've done had they been noticeable when delivered. It looks like I may have to buy another bag to get the job done. NOT HAPPY!!

I’d read mixed reviews about the quality but for convenience I bought some anyway . I was pleasantly surprised. Delivery was swift and the driver gave great service. I would order again without hesitation.

Very Good High grade MOT TYPE 1 Subbase
I brought this MOT type 1 subbase last month for my rear garden which give high premium look and uniform subbase with no defects and same colour appearance as described. Also which gives high premium look after usage. I am very much liked it & highly recommend.

Volume is small for type 1 MOT
It says it covers 13.5m area. However, that would only be to a depth of 2.5cm. The bags i got today were 0.8m x 0.7m x 0.53m deep. So that is 0.3 cubic metres volume.

Does What's In The Bag
Type1 Used to put under block paving driveway. Does exactly what was in the bag... However BnQ price has near doubled in a year...
