decent door, but the edges are not finished
I wanted a pre-painted door to save time an hassle. Turns out only the faces are pre-painted, the edges need to be sanded and primed with MDF primer before they will take gloss paint.

garbage, full of nails!
Bought 2 doors, hit nails while trimming on both in different places. Not saving time or money in the process as its cost a set of electric planer blades. 1mm on one door 3mm on the other. What do you need to trim these doors safely? An x-ray machine?

Great doors for the price
These doors are great value for money. We bought 4 of them and they all look great hung up. I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend them if you want doors that look good but don’t break the bank. I would suggest they improve the packaging as we noticed a few of these damaged in store

Beware MDF
The doors I installed look great but the edges are MDF not softwood. Difficult to plane and fine dust everywhere.

doors say they are 15 in weight doors arrived and say 12 in weight

Trim and lock placement issues.
The specification on-line does not tell you that you can only trim 4mm from each side, 6mm from the bottom and the lock has to be about 900mm from the bottom as supplied. The block for the lock is 320mm which and 55mm wide so quite restrictive. Otherwise the door looks OK for the money but I'll have to return these for a refund as the bedrooms have fitted carpets and I would need to cut more from the bottom.

Paint standard poor
Bought this door as painted and we were trying to save time as decorating the whole house before we moved in. The paint standard is shocking to say the least and to top it off you can wipe it off with a cloth. Lightly sanded with a palm sander and painted. After painting it is ok, I would of just gone for the primed one if I’d of known.

BEWARE OF LOCK POSITION
The fact that the lock can only be fitted on one side of the door is only mentioned at No4 on the reverse of the paperwork. All other details with regard to how much you can take off sides and bottom, size of hinges, and storage are all on the front and repeated on the reverse. This important information should be made clear on the front.

Don’t waste your money
I bought 4 of these doors in March, deciding to pay extra so I wouldn’t have to paint them as it is a difficult job as you get older. Unfortunately the standard of painting was deplorable - especially around all the edges of the panels - they just look like they have layers of dust all over. I am now having to paint all the doors myself so I am annoyed at having paid the extra money for pre painted doors AND having to buy paint to do it myself!
