Robust bird feeder
A robust product for keeping squirrels from scoffing all the bird food. Good value for money

great feeder for the small birds
this is a very good feeder as it stops the flying rats as I call pidgeons from monopolising the feeder

Certainly squirrel proof.
Finally, a product that truly is what it says it is - squirrel proof. Attractive addition to the garden. The birds are enjoying it now that they have the hang of it. Have had 3 different species in there feeding at once! Although a pricey item, the money saved on expensive peanuts will soon cover the cost.

Outwitted!
Earlier this year I bought two of these feeders along with a seed feeder hoping to solve the problem of squirrels and crows wrecking the ones I already had. All went well for a while but now the squirrels squeeze their whole bodies into the outer cage and bend the inner wires apart to get at the nuts. I have to repair the wires each time I refill the feeders.

Hmmmm
Useless as a bird feeder, it's been up about three weeks and they won't go near it. 3* for entertainment value, we've had a huge amount of fun watching the squirrels trying to get to the peanuts:-)

RATS!!! A horror story
Neither the squirrels or the pigeons came anywhere near this feeder because they were too frightened of the rats!!. Its twelve noon and a large specimen of rattus norvegicus,(normally nocturnal) appears for its luncheon. Scattered on the ground are small bits of peanuts left by the birds who are obviously very messy eaters. The bulbous design of feeder means that a fair percentage of this spoil will land at the rats restaurant below.(and they did not even have a reservation). The seem to absolutely love this food and are markedly bigger each day. Common rat ?,these blighters will soon be BOOMTOWN RATS. Feeder, food, and £16:94 are now in the bin. Buyer beware.
