Fitting need for urgent leak repair
The shut off valve was exactly what I needed. I was very disappointed that the blanking cap was not in stock at your Stockport store. I sourced a blanking capthat afternoon from another supplier (not B&Q).

Did the job, easy to fit
Emergency replacement. Old washing machine disconnected and old tap failed. Switched water off at mains. Mad dash for replacement just before closing time. Easy to fit and good price all ready for next days new arrival!

Failed when needed.
After 7 years in situ, valve failed to shut off the water when required. Had to shut off at the mains.

Easyt to fit .. one thing to remember is to remove the valve flag to enable to place spanner to hold securely whilst tightening the olive and back nut.the refit appropriate coloured flag ..

I only needed the blue plastic piece but that is not sold separately. So I bought this and unscrewed the blue plastic part which is sturdy and works as it should.
